Small employers are the backbone of America.

They've got to be able to attract and retain a good workforce.

Health insurance is one of the most important benefits for employees.

Who are you insuring?

Small groups are generally sized from 2 - 50 employees.  There are usually participation minimums of 50% of eligible employees who don't already have creditable coverage elsewhere (through a parent, a spouse, etc.)

A husband and wife, even if they work in the same business as entrepreneurs, do not qualify without an additional employee on the wage and tax report.

What benefits will you provide?

We have lots of choices these days, from traditional PPOs with co-pays, to high deductible health plans (HDHPs) with health savings accounts (HSAs).

Recently, partially self-funded plans have gotten a lot of interest, but that may not be in your best interest. So much depends on things we cannot know… such as the future.

How much have you budgeted?

Health care insurance premiums continue to go up, up, up. I will help you understand and think through some options that may work well for your group.
